Three research projects addressing surgery in underserved populations were presented at the 2014 National Institute of Minority Health and Healthcare Disparities Grantees Conference in Washington DC this December.
Downstate students Rebecca Miller, Roger Cui and Laura Palazzolo all presented work completed as part of their summer research fellowship with the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Kings County Hospital.
