Dr. Cherukupalli completed his Medical education from Sri venkateswara medical college, Tirupati, India, and General Surgery and advanced surgical training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He then trained in the United Kingdom and also acquired the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Ireland.

Dr. Cherukupalli completed a General Surgery Residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York and a Vascular Surgery Residency at North Shore University/Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York.

Dr. Cherukupalli is certified in General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery. He performs a full spectrum of vascular, and endovascular procedures.

Dr. Cherukupalli has a keen interest in clinical research, and is well published.
