Dr. Ali Khoobehi grew up in New Orleans. He finished his undergraduate studies
in biomedical engineering at Tulane University in 1998.
He then moved to New York City and got his MD at the NYU School of Medicine.
It was during this time that Dr. Khoobehi encountered Dr. Spencer, a renowned
cardiothoracic surgeon, and developed an intense interest in surgery.

Dr. Khoobehi is currently looking forward to practicing surgery in the
real world. He enjoys travel and long walks at the beach.
