Dr. Nowillo was born and raised in New York City.
She received her undergraduate degrees in Biology & Spanish Literature at MIT
and returned home to graduate from SUNY Downstate Medical School.

During her residency years she participated in Medical Mission Ecuador, a
volunteer-staffed plastic surgery service trip, sparking her interest in
reconstructive surgery.

Upon completion of her general surgery residency, she will continue her training in
plastic and reconstructive surgery at Nassau University Medical Center.
