Dr. Duncan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Hunter College in 1977 and then received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, graduating in 1977.

He completed his surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1985 and received his Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery / Critical Care at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1986.

Dr. Duncan's specialty is in General Surgery and Trauma & Surgical Critical Care.
