About:

Dr. Rochon was born in Quebec, Canada. She obtained a bachelor degree in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University in 1996 and continued on to McGill Medical School. During her surgical residency at McGill, she was awarded the Louise Fast Surgeon Scientist Scholarship. Her project, on pro-protein convertases in neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas, was with world renowned transplant surgeon Dr. Peter Metrakos.

After completion of her general surgerical residency, Dr Rochon went to Westchester Medical Center, NY Medical College, for a solid organ transplantation fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Khalid Butt and Dr. Patricia Sheiner.

Dr. Rochon has publications in the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Transplantation Proceedings, and Transplanation. Her clinical interests are in disparity in transplanation, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, kidney and liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgery.
